The wait is finally over. Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated sequel to 2013’sThe Last of Usis available worldwide and reunites Ellie and Joel five years after the events of the original game for a brand new cinematic adventure. InThe Last Of Us 2, life has been fairly peaceful for Ellie who is now settled into a new community in Jackson, Wyoming. However, after a horrific event leaves her devastated, broken, and angry, she heads out on a quest for revenge across Seattle against those who have wronged her.

To celebrate the launch ofThe Last Of Us Part II, PlayStation Australia has partnered with Australian musician Tash Sultana to release an acoustic cover of Shawn James' ‘Through the Valley.’ If the name sounds familiar, that’s because its the same song that Ellie was playing on guitar inthe game’s reveal trailer. The new music video also features a number of exciting references and nods to the original trailer for players to be on the lookout for.

Tash Sultana is an Australian singer and songwriter, often described as a “one-person band,” due to her ability to juggle multiple instruments throughout her performances including singing, guitar, piano, saxophone, drums, and more. Signed to Sony Music, Sultana brings her own unique style to the cover whichhonors both the original song and the new gamein her first-ever brand partnership and collaboration.

“This is the first time I’ve done a collab like this," said Sultana in a press statement released alongside the music video. “Usually, it’s kinda just like writing sessions with other musos but this is for a game and it’s different as it’s not my usual style to venture into so I’m completely honoured to be asked to do something like this. I can’t wait to see it in the game world.” Watch the full song below!
