Among these favorite pocket monsters introduced in Gen 1 is Jigglypuff, a Normal/Fairy type. While the Pokemon has a fairly simple pink design, that has helped it become instantly recognizable to many in the gaming community. In addition to its appearances throughout many installments in thePokemonseries, its popularity is evident by its inclusion as a fighter in theSuper Smash Bros.series. Recently, one fan showed their love for Jigglypuff in a neat piece of useful fan art.

Taking to Reddit, thisPokemonfan known as pokamii showcased their Jigglypuff vase. Impressively, the creator managed to recreate the likeness of the Pokemon, making something that served a real-life purpose in the process. In the images shared by pokamii, the adorable vase featured a collection of beautiful flowers, fulfilling its intended purpose. According to the artist, the design for Jigglypuff was inspired by its appearance in therecently releasedPokemon Sleepand appropriately had the pink puffball snoozing.
In addition to showcasing the vase on Reddit, pokamii shared a YouTube video detailing how they made the fan art. The roughly eight-minute video broke down the steps involved in creating the adorable vase. Based on the tutorial, thePokemonfan started by molding the shape of Jigglypuff out of clay. They first formed the spherical body of the Pokemon and then added its few features, including ears, feet, arms, and even the swirl of fur on top of its head. Once the clay had dried, several coats of appropriately pink paint were applied to the sculpture, followed by painting details such as the eyelids and mouth.
It is worth pointing out that this is not the only fan art created by pokamii. They have shown off their artistic skills by making a variety of ceramic items, such as a number ofclay plates based on various Pokemon, including one for Jigglypuff. In addition, they previously sculpted a Slowpoke fountain.
As this most recent Jigglypuff creation by pokamii shows, it is often intriguing to see fans take some of their favorite Pokemon and create real-world objects inspired by their designs. With this Pokemon-themed vase now complete, it appears pokamii has no intentions of slowing down. Time will tell what Pokemon will be the subject of their next ceramics project.
