There are two parts of the Winter Holiday 2023 event, and currently only Part 1 is live for participation.
ThePokemon GOWinter Holiday 2023 Part 1 commences onMonday, December 18, at 10 AMand ends onMonday, December 25, at 10 AM Local Time. Players canpartake in a Field Research, and four different Timed Research quests including the event-exclusive Winter Wishes Timed Research. Completing the Timed Research rewards players with multiple Pokemon encounters and valuable in-game items. Regarding the Winter Wishes Timed Research quest, it isdivided into two branchesandeach branch offers a unique bonusof either 2× XP or2× Stardust for catching Pokemon.
The Winter Wishes Timed Research starts off with Step One and later players have two segments they can choose in Step Two;Catching Pokemon PathorCollecting Stardust Path. The path players take decides the bonus they get.
