KnownPokemon Scarlet and Violetleaker Riddler Khu has posted an image of a Hexagon, asking their followers what they think it will grow into, and this is likely a major hint at the upcoming DLC. As many fans know, Pokemon Day takes place on February 27 and many fans are expectingPokemon Scarlet and VioletDLC to be revealedthere. If nothing else, Khu’s recent leaks may hint at this too.
For the uninitiated, Riddler Khu is perhaps the most prominent and consistent leaker in thePokemoncommunity. They have leaked clearly accurate information regarding severalPokemongames, including forPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s launch, and so their teases for DLC should be trusted more than other online users. They should still be taken with a grain of salt, especially as Khu prefers to play around and use riddles than post outright statements, but the latest hint has to be tied to the third legendary and/or Kalos.

As seen below, the third legendary ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetseemingly has a series of hexagonal plates, and it could be tied to this teaser as a result. It’s hard to know what Khu exactly means, but it’s possible that these Hexagons (tied to the Terastral phenomenon) grow and change depending on certain factors. It could perhaps operate something like Arceus where this legendary can grow and change different types, or perhaps its form changes from the giant egg to an actual Pokemon based on how many Hexagons it has. This could also operate similarly to Zygarde, if not be related to Zygarde and potentially supporting rumors thatKalos DLC will appear inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Zygarde has, prior to this new legendary, been associated with Hexagons and Zygarde “grows” or changes depending on its forme.Zygarde’s 10% forme, 50% forme, or complete formeall bear the same hexagons on them. With this in mind, it could be that the third legendary operates like Zygarde, or it could be that fans travel to Kalos, some of it at least, inPokemon Scarlet and Violet. Because Pokemon Z never existed, it could be a hint that the games tie this potential story into its own (even if some of these formes were later introduced inPokemon Sun and Moon).
As it stands, thePokemon Scarlet and Violet’s third legendarybeing tied to Hexagons and changing based on them seems the most likely, but it’s hard to ignore how similar to Zygarde that is. Whether this is just a hint at the third legendary and/or Kalos DLC, it’s exciting—and fans should hopefully learn more on Pokemon Day.
