Sony has announced a couple of new games being included in thePlayStation Plus Collection, adding to the alreadyrobust line-up of the collectionlaunching day and date with the PlayStation 5.
Launching with the service are the hit current-gen gamesCall of Duty Black Ops 3 : Zombies ChroniclesEditionandCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy,which players will be able to download to their PlayStation 5 as long as they are PS Plus members.

The two new additions join the likes of several third party games already in the collection includingBatman: Arkham Knight,Final Fantasy 15, andFallout 4. The collection also includes several first party titles such asBloodborne,God of War, andThe Last Guardian.
Zombies Chroniclesincludesfully remastered versions of eight classic Zombies mapsfrom various modes found in the franchise. While it also includes the base game found inCall of Duty: Black Ops 3, the main focus is the Zombies mode, which has become popular after originally launched withCall of Duty: World at War.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogyis the collection ofCrash Bandicoot,Cortex Strikes Back, andCrash Warpedremade from the ground up with a new engine and new graphics in one package.Crash Bandicootwas made famous on the original PlayStation thanks to these original three games and their spin-offs.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogyhas sold so well that Activision also followed the game up withCrash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled,a remade versionof the classic kart racerCrash Team Racing.Following the success of both remakes, Activision announced and released a new sequel titledCrash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Timethis September.
Announced at the second PlayStation 5 event in September, The PS Plus Collection is a new initiative by Sony to bring a library ofpopular games from the PlayStation 4to the new console. While the majority of the games in the collection are from Sony’s first party lineup, fans can expect some major third party games too.
The PlayStation Plus Collection looks to be a major incentive for those weary about jumping to the PlayStation 5 from the current-gen consoles when it launches. While Sony has stated the initiative is not adirect competitor to Microsoft’s Game Pass, the lineup is sure to catch the attention of new and current PlayStation fans alike. With the addition of some new games, its easy to see the PlayStation Plus Collection growing with time as the PlayStation 5 gets in player’s hands.
