PS Plusfans weren’t happy with the free games for April 2022 and instantly looked to May, hoping the new games would redeem the month. Last Tuesday,Sony confirmed the free PS Plus games for May 2022to beFIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, andCurse of the Dead Gods.
While these are arguably better than April’s selection, it’s likely that it’ll be hit or miss for many fans. Still, for those who have been waiting on one of these newPS Plusgames, they are available to download now. Fans will have until June 7 to claim these games.

FIFA 22– Available on PS4 and PS5. The latest in the franchise,FIFA 22is a sports simulation game with a focus on gameplay improvementsover past titles. Players will be able to check out a career mode, VOLTA football, Ultimate Team, and more.

PS Plus Premium Will Launch Soon
Of course, fans are aware thatPS Plus Premium’s release dateis fast approaching. Players in Asia will get access potentially on May 23, Japan on June 1, the Americas on June 13, and Europe on June 2022. This means that fans can expect some big changes next month, depending on their location.
For example, while the PS Plus free games for May 2022 will be replaced by the June games, those who upgrade from Essentials to Premium will further gain access to alibrary of over 700 PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, and more games. Interested parties should keep their nose to the ground, as Sony will likely showcase this huge library sometime between now and then.
