On Twitter, Shaun Akerman shared that he created and uploaded a first-person / third-person camera mod forRed Dead Redemption 2on the NexusMods platform. The mod also comes with a free cam, which will let players freely explore the cutscenes. Implementing the mod into their game will allow players to see therivetingRed Dead Redemption 2scenes and dialoguesfrom different angles. This means fans will be able to view the expressions of other characters who are not visible but are present in the original cutscene.

According to NexusMods, this is the second mod that Akerman has created forRed Dead Redemption 2. The first one was also just recently uploaded, but focuses on switching thebehavior ofRDR2’s NPCs. The mod makes NPCs aggressively brawl with each other using melee weapons and their bare fists. Comments on the NexusMods pages do suggest improvements on both mods such as adding controller support for the free cam one, or toning down the aggression for the pedestrian brawl mod. Akerman seems to be very active and looking to improve his work, so fans will likely have a lot to look forward to with his creations.

Players who are interested in Akerman’s work should follow his official social media channels, and his NexusMods page to get updates on his work. Hopefully theRed Dead Redemption 2community continues to remain supportive, and offer constructive criticism for content creators like him.
