InRed Dead Redemption 2, players are often keen to tackle the vast open-world head-on in a fury of lead-slinging and blood-spilling undertakings. After all, Rockstar Games' action-adventure title lets said players take control ofnow-iconic outlaw Arthur Morgan; a cowboy who is no stranger to murder with his armory of revolvers, rifles, plus dynamite explosives. That said, sometimes putting the brake on the robberies and divulging in some daunting stunt diving activities can be just as delightful, as one player finds.
As briefly touched upon,Red Dead Redemption 2is a deep experienceloaded with many secret side-jobs and narrative lore even after beating the main story. From odd jobs involving escaped exotic circus animals to rescuing a one-legged war veteran, the Western boasts a wide and wild range of missions for players to sink their teeth into. Although, with this being the case, it’s common for players to bite off more than they can chew and miss out on some fun to be had if they don’t stop and dip their toes into the water now and then.

Reddit user “Throwaway” has posted a short 1:50 clip that documents a series ofbeautiful yet high locations inRed Dead Redemption 2that can be used to swan dive from into the waters below. Leaving many players eager to try out the daredevil-like stunts for themselves, the post managed to quickly amass over 450 upvotes and replies supporting Throwaway in their aquatic endeavours.
As seen above, the video starts with a steep cliff situated above thebustling Dakota River inRed Dead Redemption 2, near Cumberland Forrest. From there, Throwaway shows no fear as they control Arthur Morgan and make him leap off the rock face into the crushing waters below. Fortunately, Arthur makes it out of the ordeal without a scratch, and with enough vigour to carry out the stunt several more times in varying locations dotted around the map.
Speaking of which, the listed high jumps in the video can be found in the following areas inRed Dead Redemption 2. They are relatively near each other, so players shouldn’t have too much difficulty testing all the high jumps out.
As entertaining as this seems, one might be careful committing such tasks asRed Dead Redemption’slegendary gunslinger John Marston. After all, Arthur Morgan can swim as long as his stamina holds out, which is a fairly long time, but if John tries to take a dip in a lake, his stamina depletes almost instantly, and he quickly drowns. So, unless Rockstar Games implement a pair of inflatable armbands intoRDR2, it is best to try this out as Arthur.
Red Dead Redemption 2is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
