While Tom Henderson has correctly leaked information in the past, gamers should take all rumors and leaks with a grain of salt, and wait for a confirmation from the developer or publisher.
A two-month-long delay does not sound that bad on paper, but it pushesAssassin’s Creed Mirageinto one of the busiest periods for new releases. Regardless, given the poorly optimized and buggy nature of recent releases likeStar Wars Jedi: SurvivorandRedfall, it’s probably best for the development team to take as much time as they need.
It’s worth noting thatAssassin’s Creed Mirageis not a full-priced game, as it will cost $49.99 at launch as opposed to $69.99 for many other titles.Assassin’s Creed Mirageis also shorter in length, as fans can expect it to provide around 15–20 hours of content. Furthermore,Assassin’s Creed Miragewill not feature a playable modern-day segment, with the full focus of its story on Basim’s journey. Overall, it seems likeMirageis a smaller-scale game in theAssassin’s Creedseries, and its price looks to reflect the amount of content on offer.
