Konamihas just shadowdroppedSilent Hill: The Short Messageas a PS5-exclusive, standalone playable teaser to give fans of theSilent Hillseries a taste of the vision and direction the franchise will be heading in. Although the core gameplay relies on environmental interaction for gathering lore and progressing in the game, there is one puzzle thrown in for good measure that might be a hurdle for some players.
The clues for solving the locker puzzle inSilent Hill: The Short Messagerequires players to scan their surroundings to look for possible numerical digits that can be inputted as the code. Players don’t need to look further if they’re having any trouble, as the guide below highlights both the clues for solving the puzzle and the actual code required to unlock the locker.

Where Is the Locker?
Silent Hill: The Short Messagefollows Anita on her journey past the emotional traumas of her childhood and teen years. As she uncovers more context around her state of turmoil, new pathways will eventually open for her and, by extension, for the players who will find themselves in new settings.
One such setting is that of a school from Anita’s past, which she has tonavigate during chapter 2of this playable teaser. Upon reaching the corridor of lockers, she will eventually need to unlock her personal locker to retrieve a key piece of info that will shed more light on her relationship with her closest friends.

What Is the Code for the Locker?
The locker needs a four-digit combination to unlock, so at first, players might be perplexed as they try to seek out the clues in the immediate surroundings. The puzzle follows the same idea as anylocker puzzle inResident Evilgames. Though the digits themselves are not hidden intricately, they still might be a bit hard to find and piece together if the player is not using their full focus.
The four digits are painted within this corridor, and it’s just up to the players to spot them. However, before the game reveals these digits, players are required to interact with the desk and their locker. After doing so, all the four digits will become apparent. The first digit, a shaded “0”, is painted above the opposite door to where players first enter the corridor. The next one is just a few paces from the previous one, and it’s on the roof, a painted red “3”. Moving further back, players will be able to notice a “1” painted in yellow along the edge of the wall near a yellow drinking fountain. Finally, the last digit is a blue-colored “2” just near where the players first enter the corridor, on the opposite side of “0”.
Entering the digits in that order,0312,will unlock the locker and give Anita access to the contents inside. The short video tutorial below may also aid players in spotting the clues and entering the four-digit code to unlock the locker.
