SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR AHEAD
AStar Wars Jedi: Survivorplayer has accidentally discovered a way to cheese the game’s final boss. Thebosses inStar Wars Jedi: Survivorare some of the hardest across Respawn’s two games, and every piece of advice for beating them is helpful.
With the game now out for a few weeks, it’s been interesting to see how players navigate all the toughest bosses in the game. One player even discovered a way to cheese another ofStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s hardest boss battles, but that was more intentional than the clip featured here. As a Soulslike,Star Wars Jedi: Survivorprovides a great challenge to its players, and it’s only natural that at certain points they’d go looking for easier routes forward. On the highest difficulty, some fights can take hours to pass, and understandably that isn’t for everyone.

Redditor Overpops encountered the strange cheese of Bode, the final boss in the game. Abug inStar Wars Jedi: Survivorseems to allow the player to Force Push Bode off the side of the map, instantly ending the fight regardless of the HP he’s on. This could prove extremely useful to anyone playing the game on Grandmaster difficulty, as it avoids the need to actually defeat him in combat. While it isn’t captured on the video itself, the user claims that the issue causes some of the ending cutscenes to play out of sync, confirming that this isn’t something intentional that players are able to do.
Others in the thread seemed to confirm this, claiming that there seems to be an invisible wall that is supposed to prevent Cal from Force Push on Bode. It makes sense - if theForce powers inStar Wars Jedi: Survivorwere as powerful as they’re portrayed in other media such as the movies, it could remove a great deal of difficulty from the game, especially in the climactic boss battles. According to one Redditor, Force Pushing bosses is a technique that has worked in other games such asThe Force Unleashed, and it seems like Respawn still hasn’t been able to solve the issue.
Players will be hoping to see moreStar Wars Jedi: Survivorcontent in the coming months. Many have already mastered every boss the game has to offer, and some single-player DLC would be the perfect way to inject new life into the game. However, the originalStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderdidn’t receive any story content, so it’s definitely not a guarantee, no matter how well the game performs financially.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
