Now, AMD, the official PC partner forStarfield, has joined Bethesda to announce a limited set of GPUs and CPUs inspired byStarfield. The GPU model will be a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with custom painting, while the CPU will be the powerful RX 7900 XTX. Unfortunately for gamers who are already dreaming of having this gear, there’s a catch. Only 500 units of each device will be ever made, and they will not be available for sale. According to the official announcement, only 500 lucky gamers who participate in the QuakeCon giveaway during the weekend will take these home.
By using this hardware, gamers will have more than enough power to runStarfieldat pretty high settings. The collector pieces actually look great, usingStarfield’s “NASApunk” aesthetics, with lots of white space, and some blue and red details. The GPU even comes withStarfield’s logo, and it uses some elements present in the game’s HUD. Overall, the design is pretty similar totheStarfieldXbox controllersthat were announced a few weeks ago and would make a pretty good match with them. While they look very good, they don’t seem to offer any kind of special engineering, though. Gamers may expect both the GPU and CPU to work essentially equally to their non-Starfieldcounterparts.
The rarity of these items and their link to one of the biggest games of the year are certain to ensure that these will quickly turn into collector’s items.
