The original poster provided step-by-step instructions on how to make cozy bases, saying that players must create an outpost, head to the Misc section in the menu, craft a space station control pad, and click on the small terminal. After reading a message, they must click the “modify space station” button to convert their ship into a custom base. One thing to note is that players can’t decorate the interior part of their station.
The original poster claimed that players can sometimes be unable to dock their ship onto the station, but they are free to transfer cargo from/to their outpost on the ground. Interestingly, vexthecollector developed this mod using codes that were already available inStarfield, which hints that Bethesda is planning to bring the space station building feature.
