Super Smash Bros. Ultimatehas pleased fans with a steady stream of content which has included some awesome fighters. There has been plenty of speculation about which fighter would be included as the final character in the Ultimate Fighter’s pass. Many had a prediction that Dante fromDevil May Crywould make an appearance, however, the evidence that supported this theory has quickly disappeared.

Super Smash Bros.has managed to include an incredible amount of fighters from the archives of Nintendo and from further afield games. Dante has been an acclaimed character in theDevil May Cryseries for his cool attitude, and as soon as there was a possibility of his inclusion fans were excited. Unfortunately, the news about Dante is limited to updates of the Switch port ofDevil May Cry 3.

Devil May Cry 3: Special Editionon the Switch is allowing players to switch Dante’s fighting style seamlessly. There will only be theories until January 16th at 9 a.m. EST, when the final fighter of DLC 5 will be announced. Whether fans will be pleased with the fighter remains to be seen butSuper Smash Bros.
