The Talisman of the Dread can be found on a corpse inside the Elder’s Hovel. To reach this destroyed old shack, you need to start from the Castle Front Site of Lost Grace, which is near the entrance of Castle Ensiswhere you fight Rellana, Twin Moon Knight.
Next, summon Torrent and keep heading southeast until you see a slope leading down. Use it to get near a swamp of poison. Head north through a swamp, then continue east through a smaller swamp filled with Miranda Sprouts.
Keep going eastpast the Sealed Spiritspringuntil you reach the Elder’s Hovel and collect the Talisman of the Dread.
The Talisman of the Dread raises the potency of magma by approximately 15%.So any magma Sorceriesor Incantations you possess will deal even more damage than normal. Some examples are:
Magma Sorceries
Fires a lump of condensed magma that explodes a short delay after hitting the target
Conjures a surge of magma from the earth, covering the area.
Summons searing spirits that leave a trail of delayed explosions in their wake.
Dragon Communion Incantations
Transforms caster into a great wyrm to spew a large volume of magma breath.
Channels the form of the dread dragon to emit a mighty roar accompanied by a heatwave burst, causing violent eruptions of fire in the area.
