A Lightning attack is a magickal attack that can significantly damage many characters. When a lightning attack is aimed at the player’s party, the energy cannot be contained and the attack may jump from character to character damaging them in turn. If this is a particular concern, thenarmor designed to counterlightning damage is the way forward.

Also, something to look out for when considering the best armor options against lightning damage is its resistance to theDrenchedcondition. This is gained by being submerged in water or covered in it by an enemy. Being drenched will increase the power of lightning attacks and, therefore, this list will rank armor found inDragon’s Dogma 2by its elemental and debilitation resistance to lightning attacks and the drenched condition.
