The climax of Season 3 saw the gang returning the Dragon Prince toits mother in Xadia, but a great deal happened in the two years after. Some characters grew up, others vanished, and a select few even fell in love. Season 4 ofThe Dragon Princefeatures some of the best moments in the entire series, but some are more notable than others.

10Soren’s Comedy Routine

Soren was always a likable character, but he was portrayed as a villain for the vast majority of the show. Thankfully, he came to see reason during Season 3 and has since gone on to become one of the most endearing characters in the whole series.

There are some hilarious Soren moments in Season 4, but his comedy routine in “Episode 3: Breathtaking” is the most iconic by far. Callum was due to welcome the Dragon Queen to Kotalis with a magical show, but he never turned up. Soren, not wanting to disappoint, then chose to welcome her by rattling off a series of puns and dad jokes in Callum’s absence.

9Ezran Seeing The Dragon-Sized Jelly Tart

Ezran has always been an avid jelly tart lover. He spent most of the series consuming the delicious treats whenever he got the chance. Even after two years have passed, his love for the baked confectioneries doesn’t seem to show any signs of lessening in Season 4.

Not only does Ezran give Barius, the baker, a position on the council, but he also tasks the gifted pastry chef with preparing a meal fit for a dragon. In response to this request, Barius preparesa giant jelly tartbefore presenting it to the Dragon Queen as a gift. Though the tart was intended for the Queen, Ezran’s response to seeing it suggests he was planning on eating it himself.

Season 3 saw Claudia remaining by her father’s side, but Soren chose to leave in search of a better cause. He joined forces with Ezran to protect Xadia and was eventually forced to face Claudia on the battlefield.

Things didn’t exactly end on a happy note during this encounter, so it goes a bit sideways when they reconvene within the Uncharted Forest in Season 4. Zubeia then reveals that the mirror was created so Aaravos could be monitored from a safe location. Aaravos then appears in the mirror, takes control of Callum, anduses his voice to speak. This moment reveals that Callum’s tampering with Dark Magic has made him susceptible to Aaravos’s power.

3Claudia Returning Rayla’s Parents

Viren was always a cruel man, but little was known about what became of most of his victims. People had a way of mysteriously vanishing when left alone with him, and though the fates of certain characters were made clear, it wasn’t until Season 4 that the fate of Rayla’s parents, Tiadrin and Lain, was revealed.

Like Runaan, Rayla’s parents fell victim to Viren’s sinister ways. Claudia reveals this to Rayla during the final moments of Season 4 before explaining what happened to them. Her father, Viren, trapped Tiadrin and Lain in gold coins before the events of the first season. Though they remain trapped in these coins by the end of Season 4,Rayla is now one step closer to freeing them.
