With each new stage of development inThe Planet Crafter, players get access to a new set of species they can use to add color and life to the landscape. The second-to-last stage of development is Amphibians, and with it comes a set of frog species.
The way frog eggs spawn inThe Planet Crafteris different from both the way you get insect larvae and the way you find fish eggs. However, once you figure out the trick, you can use it to craft and discover all 14 species of frog that the game has to offer.

Where to Find Frog Eggs
The main way you find frog eggs inThe Planet Crafteris by looking for natural frog ponds. At some point betweenthe Fish and Amphibian terraformation stages, frogs will start to appear in these tiny ponds that dot the landscape. Look for a shallow collection of stones with a bit of water in the middle. Adult frogs will start to appear in them later on, but before then you should be able to find a set of white frog eggs by the water.
The way frog eggs spawn hasmore in common with zeolite depositsthan with insect larvae or fish eggs. They only start appearing once you reach a certain terraformation stage, and each pond only provides one set of frog eggs. You eventually get a recipe for Generic Frog Eggs, but until then your supply of them is limited.

You can create most frog species by using Generic Frog Eggs in an Incubator, but a few species come from other sources:
Space Trader
Aside from flowers, the Space Trader offers a unique species of almost every life form you can find on the planet. Just be prepared toshell out a lot of Terra Tokensto get their unique frog species.
Procedural Wrecks
The “Procedural Wrecks” updategives players a potentially endless supply of formerly limited items like crop seeds, flower seeds, and microchips. you’re able to also find two frog species in distant wrecks that aren’t available elsewhere.
Biome Exploration
The frog ponds in a few of the game’s biomes feature unique frog species. You can tell which ponds are unique at a glance, because the frogs hopping around them don’t look like the generic species.
