Thanks to this detailed customization, a Reddit user was able to create a Sim version of Arthur Morgan, the main character ofRed Dead Redemption 2.
The Sims 4character customization tools are the most in-depth so far in the franchise. Players are able to choose some of the usual features such as the name, gender, and age. However, the sim’s physical appearance can be changed even more in this installment due to the click and drag system it employs. Thanks to this system, players can create Sims with a strong resemblance to other characters, such as Arthur Morgan, who is just one of the manyother pop culture characters created inThe Sims 4.

This time,The Sims 4was not used to recreate celebrities with scandalous lives, but to imitate a character from another game. Reddit user ZOZIX123 posted their attempt to recreate Arthur Morgan. ZOZIX123 took advantage of the extremely detail-oriented tools fromThe Sims 4to tweak the character’s appearance as well as his outfit which resulted in a pretty convincing Arthur Morgan.
Arthur Morgan is the main character fromRed Dead Redemption 2,an outlaw from a fictional Wild West era. Arthur is characterized for his cowboy attire, which consists of a cowboy hat, a blue shirt, brown pants with suspenders, and a black scarf. Arthur also has an iconic brown leather jacket and, of course, a pair of cowboy boots and a gun.
Even thoughThe Sims 4does not offer some customization optionslike guns as accessories, user ZOZIX123 managed to create a convincing Arthur Morgan. The Simified Arthur has his characteristic beard, and even a belt that closely resembles that of the original character. Furthermore, all of Arthur’s clothes seemed to be covered in dirt, which adds to the game’s aesthetic and makes it look even more real.
As good as this Sim turned out, some Reddit users think the face does not resemble Arthur Morgan, but Ted Cruz instead. Even thoughArthur Morgan’s appearance inRed Dead Redemption 2is not at all similar to Ted Cruz’s, the character’s face seems to have a similar facial expression to the one the Texas Senator has. However, it should be noted thatThe Sims 4has a lighter tone thanRed Dead Redemption 2,so it should not come as a surprise that the more stern aspect of Arthur Morgan could not be captured properly.
