The Witcher 3: The Wild Huntwas recently ported over to the Switch just last year, four years after the game’s initial release. The game has recently regained interest thanks to the Netflix series boosting player numbers while alsoselling out the original booksThe Witcheris based on. Ever since the game was moved over to the Switch, many players have enjoyed the mobile ability of the game, but have often complained about some of the graphics being lost in the port.
Despite the complaints, it is a wonder of how the developers fitthe entire complicated plot ofThe Witcheron to one small Switch cartridge, but fans still want a more beautiful-looking game. The original Reddit post translating the developer’s comment explained that some have taken to trying to disable Anti-Aliasing to do just that.
Some modders have demonstrated what the Switch version ofThe Witcher 3could look like and the results are pretty impressive. It is possible to mod the game to 60 FPS via homebrew, or user-designed modification on the Switch. However, for all the technical jargon and work that would take, waiting for an update from Saber Interactive will be easier and less confusing than struggling tomodThe Witcher 3on the Nintendo Switch.
