On April 5th,Vampire Survivorsreceived a huge update. This update, Patch 0.4.2, added a lot of new content to the game, most notable a new level for players to try and survive. This new stage is titled Gallo Tower, and it’s oriented a little differently than the other stages.

Instead of the wide-open stages, like Mad Forest, and the horizontally oriented stages, like Inlaid Library, Gallo Tower is oriented vertically. The stage is very narrow and forces the player to spend most of the time moving up and down.Unlocking the Gallo Tower stage inVampire Survivorsrequires getting the character to level 60 in the Dairy Plant. For veteran players, completing the Dairy Plant isn’t that difficult of a task; for beginners, it can be one of the more challenging stages.

The Dairy Plant

The first thing to keep in mind when playing the Dairy Plant is that the enemies here are fast and tough. This stage also has more obstacles for the player to maneuver around than other levels, so it’s easy for people to get cornered by enemies. This is a recipe for a quick death. This article will serve as a quick reference for getting to level 60 in the Dairy Plant, but not necessarily for completing the stage.

Beginning The Dairy Plant

The first thing players will want to do is head up andget the Attractorb accessory. This can be easily located by turning on the guides in the pause screen. Don’t worry aboutfilling the accessory slotsbefore getting the Attractorb – just pick it up. This will help collect experience gems faster and more efficiently, helping the character level up faster.

Pick a characterthat moves a little faster than the average.Poppea and Christine are good picks; however, Christine has the lowest max health among the characters. Cavallo, Pasqualina, and Mortaccio are also great picks for this stage. Their starting weapons (respectively), Cherry Bomb, Runetracer, and Bone, work well in the narrow passages of the Dairy Plant.

Helpful Hints

TheCrown accessoryshould be selected if it becomes available. This will hasten the grind to level 60. Another strategy is to save theVacuum pick-ups; keep one at the edge of the screen for a few minutes as experience gems collect on the ground. Don’t wait too long though, or the Green Death (Stalker) will show up and begin pursuing the character.

The Gallo Tower

This section will help prepare survivors for the Gallo Tower. Players should head down at the start of the stage and get the bonusSpellbinder accessoryafter filling the accessory slots. Since the Spellbinder is given for free, the playershould select the King Biblewhen it’s offered.

The most important weapon to get in Gallo Tower is theSong of Mana. This weapon sends out beams vertically, making it perfect for the vertically oriented Gallo Tower. Once the Spellbinder is obtained, the player should quickly head up until they find the bonusBracer accessory. If the player continues down far enough, they will encounter and fight Leda. Defeating Leda unlocks him as a playable character.
