While the source is certainly questionable, and the rumor could have no weight to it, the fact that it has appeared at all is interesting. With information on the next big game already starting to leak, it is hard to argue against theBorderlandscommunity discussing the fourth numbered entry in the series.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Status As A Cross-Gen Game
WhileTiny Tina’s Wonderlandswill surely be the immediate focus of Gearbox, as the game is set to launch near the start of next year, it does not mean that the studio cannot start development onBorderlands 4. It will likely be a bit less complicated to make because of this, with Gearbox not needing to change as much forTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsas they would for a proper, next-gen onlyBorderlandsgame. As such, the developer could be able to split attention between the two titles, laying the groundwork for a true next-gen successor while also working on Tina’s next adventure.
