Microsoft has now confirmed six titles that are leaving the Xbox Game Pass lineup later in October. Some of these games are exclusive to thePC version of Xbox Game Pass, but most of them are available on both PC and Xbox consoles. All six games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass starting October 15, so anyone interested can prioritize these games and ensure they play through them for free through Game Pass while they still can.

Most of them are relatively short games, though someone that wants to beatTales of Vesperia: Definitive Editionwhile it’s still on Game Pass should definitely prioritize it as it’s longer than the others, taking roughly 50 hours long for an initial playthrough.

Out of these games, the most highly-rated isKatana Zero, a 2D action game that earned mostly positive reviews at the time of its original release in 2019.Katana Zerowas so well-received in fact that it event snagged itself anomination at The Game Awards that year for Best Independent Game, though ultimately lost out toDisco Elysium.Katana Zerois also a pretty short game, so it should be easy for anyone that wants to beat it to do so before it’s removed from Xbox Game Pass on October 15.
While Xbox Game Pass is losing six games later in October, it’s also gaining titles throughout the month as well. The turn-based strategy gamePhoenix Pointjust joined Xbox Game Pass on October 1, and more titles are scheduled to release later in the month. One of the most notable new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October is theLeft 4 Deadspiritual successorBack 4 Blood, set to join Game Pass on October 12.

There will be many othernew Xbox Game Pass games in October, though Microsoft has yet to reveal its full October plans for the service.
