Following the tragic events ofYakuza Kiwami 1, the orphan Haruka Sawamura is left in the care of the series’ beloved protagonist and ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu. While Haruka is briefly involved throughoutYakuzaKiwami 2’s story, she spends most of her time at the bar Serena or with detective Makoto Date.
However, early inYakuza Kiwami 2’s Chapter 13, Settling Accounts, Kiryu is given the opportunity to explore thegame’s fictional Japanese districtsofSotenbori, andKamurocho, with Haruka. The two of them have a lot of sightseeing to do, and throughout their excursion she will make a variety of requests of Kiryu.

How to Explore Sotenbori and Kamurocho with Haruka in Yakuza Kiwami 2
InChapter 13ofYakuza Kiwami 2, Kiryu will be accompanied by Haruka as they explore Sotenbori together. Haruka will follow Kiryu throughout the city, and if he is walking slowly enough, she may take his hand. As they explore, Haruka will periodically call out to Kiryu, and a text bubble will appear as she shares statements regarding her request. Within each, Haruka will provide either a clear or slightly ambiguous hint about what she wants Kiryu to do.
Kiryu can travel freely between the main two cities of Sotenbori or Kamurocho by usingthe game’s taxi system, and Haruka will present a different request depending on the current location. In either city, she will continue to repeat her request until it is fulfilled, but it is possible to have her change her current request through traveling. Thankfully, it is not possible to miss any of Haruka’s requests, and they will eventually all cycle through to be completed.
All Rewards for Completing Haruka’s Requests in Yakuza Kiwami 2
As Kiryu completes Haruka’s requests, her Trust level will increase, and an experience bar will pop up and fill until it reaches the next level. At each new trust rank, Kiryu will receive a reward. There are a total of nine Trust ranks to progress through, starting withE rankand progressing up toEX rank. Completing her tasks will also count toward various Completion Points tasks. How to Start Haruka’s Requests in Yakuza Kiwami 2
Haruka’s requestsinYakuza Kiwami 2involve taking her to a particular location inSotenboriorKamurochoand performing a specific task. Most of the time, she will ask Kiryu to visit a particular restaurant or business and buy a certain meal or item. Completing Haruka’s requests is entirely optional and is safe to skip if uninterested.
If players do decide to skip Haruka’s request, they will miss out on the rewards, which include additional Casino game cheat items and ahandful of exclusive gear itemsincludingHaruka’s Necklace at EX Rank.Players will also be unable to obtain theSecret Book of Bowlingrequired to unlock the “Essence of Bowling Ball” Heat ability unless they reachSS Rankwith Haruka.
In her text bubbles, Haruka will either typically offer Kiryu a brief description of her request sometimes including details of where she wants to go or what she wants Kiryu to buy. Speaking with her directly will provide more specific details of her request such as the storefront or restaurant dish she desires. Nevertheless, if the player still makes the wrong choice and purchase the incorrect item or dish, Haruka will let Kiryu know what she wanted after he has made the purchase.

These requests can range from easy to frustratingly difficult, especially if the player is not familiar with the particular minigame. However, the good news is that the player can retry her requests as many times as needed until able to successfully complete them.

It’s important to note that each minigame challenge must be completed within a single attempt. For example, if players are attempting Haruka’s Poker minigame challenge, they must earn the 1000 chips all in one sitting. If they leave the table, it will reset the attempt, and they will have to earn the full 1000 chips on their next attempt. Therefore, when they are certain they have completed the challenge, they should leave the table and Haruka will respond accordingly. The challenges can be completed on any difficulty level when applicable.
